The Texas Safety Rest Area Planner is a web mapping tool designed to help travelers locate safety rest areas across Texas.
The goal of this project was to create a map that illustrates the areas most susceptible to groundwater overexploitation in select Texas counties. The map combines water table change data with land use information to identify regions where conservation efforts should be prioritized.
This project uses GIS and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to map groundwater potential zones in the San Gabriel Watershed.

For this project, I analyzed the potential impact of the Zika virus on populations of childbearing women in the United States and Texas. The objective was to identify areas where large populations of women aged 15-50 live in close proximity to the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquito species, known vectors for the Zika virus.
